For our Summer School 2024 on Translational Vaccinology we revisited the „Seehof“ in Ratzeburg and enjoyed invited talks by Thomas Pietschmann, Dave Stuart, our Mercator fellow Félix Rey, Wolfgang Hammerschmidt, as well as getting some more insights into the path to industry by Sebastian Goy and Simon Schröder from the DZIF TMPO, Sophia Reindl from Boehringer-Ingelheim and Ilaria Ferlenghi from GSK plc. Siena.

We enjoyed our Autumn School 2024 in the „Altes Stahlwerk“ in Neumünster, with an exciting introduction into Virology including talks by Mario Schelhaas and Martin Schwemmle, a workshop on light microscopy by Roland Thünauer and a lecture by Jens Bohne on biosafety and dual use.

We had fun at our Spring School 2024 in the „Seehof“ in Ratzeburg, offering a course in structure prediction and validation of predicted models in addition to two inspiring lectures by Mercator fellows Dr. Felix Rey and Dr. Reidun Twarock.
